we got ROBBED!

the story of being robbed:
We got finished with Wesley for the semester on Thursday, December 9th. All the Directors go on a retreat at the end of the semester, so Aaron and I kept Clay and Deborah's kids Thursday night until Friday morning. We packed our bags (because we were going to stay at their house) around 3pm and went to keep the kiddos. Aaron had to work at Two Story from 9pm-12am, so after work he went home because i had forgotten to pack him socks. When he arrived, he noticed that the front door was partially open. (And we don't leave it like that) He walked in and then realized that our house had been broken into. Our neighborhood has had several break-ins over the past few weeks. They took our tv, wii, ipod, ihome, portable dvd player. Luckily, nothing "valuable" was taken, just our electronics which are all things that can be replaced. Aaron called me and of course, I freaked out a little. We did feel like our sense of feeling "safe" in our apartment had been taken from us. Our neighbor across the cul-de-sac from us had been broken into TWICE. So, after much thinking and praying, we decided that we were going to move out and stay with our friends Daniel and Katie for awhile until we can find our own place where we feel SAFE!

here are some pictures of our first little home. It was a happy place :)
