We have had a pretty relaxing summer so far. Aaron works at Two Story Coffeehouse almost everyday (which is great so we can save up some money for the fall) and I got a part-time job at Victoria's Secret at the mall here in Athens. I love the job and the girls I work with! My only complaint is that I wished I worked more! I hope to continue to keep this job through the next year working on nights and weekends. Aaron still loves his job as a barista. The coffeehouse actually just started roasting their own coffee so he has loved learning about that (and teaching me about it when he gets home!) The coffeehouse is closed this week for the 4th so we get to spend some time together and catch up on some things. Aaron has been helping our friends, Daniel and Katie paint the trim on their house and I have been crafting! I have made hairpins and earrings and am slowly getting back into sewing. Yesterday we had a sewing party at Sarah's house. I made a burp cloth (just to have on hand for baby gifts...don't start thinking any thing!) and I have many other projects that I would like to make. Gina has been helping me in my endeavors. We joke about going into business together....Maybe one day...
Aaron and I are still looking for a car. Aaron had a wreck in my car in March.
A guy ran a red light right outside of our neighborhood and totaled my car. Aaron wasn't hurt at all and we are so thankful! We have been casually looking online for a few months now and we(I) am really ready to purchase something! After a few months of surviving on one car, we now have borrowed our friend, Rachel's car. Rachel co-led the Peru trip with us. She went back to Peru for the summer so she let us have her car for a few months! We are so so so thankful! It has been a lifesaver to us this summer. We will hopefully be able to find something this week while Aaron is off work. So, if you hear of anyone selling a car, let us know!
