anniversary

Yesterday (the 25th) was our one year wedding anniversary. I cannot believe that it has been one year already. It has been a great year. We have both learned so much about one another and have learned so much about ourselves as well.  

Here are some things that we have done this year: 

-spent a year interning at UGA Wesley Foundation together. (we are both returning for another year beginning in August)

-made some big (for us) purchases including couches, washer and dryer, and most recently a car! 

-had our first christmas together and split our christmases between our families.

-learned how to live together in a small apartment with one tiny bathroom :) 

-cooked many meals and tried out many new recipes with our kitchen applicances and accessories we got as wedding gifts.

-decorated our apartment and turned it into a home

-grew a garden in our backyard

-bought a family size inflatable pool for our backyard

-traveled together to Dominican Republic (honeymoon), Peru (mission trip), Florida (family vacation), Nashville (friend's wedding), Charleston (one year anniversary), Mississippi (family christmas)
