Our House!

When we first started looking for a house, we made a "dream list" of things that we would like to have in a potential house. We made our "dream list" within our financial boundaries, but we also dreamed big! Here are some things on that list: 
     -3 bedroom/2 bathroom
     -room to entertain guests & have people over
     -PLENTY of storage 
     -a swing
     -a driveway where we could put a basketball goal
     -a fireplace/mantel
     -a kitchen big enough that will hold our kitchen island
     -kitchen drawers (to hold my pots and pans...a silly request, but so beneficial and practical!)
     -a front porch
     -a yard that is big enough for a nice sized garden (and a yard that gets 8+ hours of sun!)
     -a yard big enough to entertain/play games
     -a patio/back porch


-some of the things on the list were somewhat silly but things that we would love for our "ideal" house to have. The house that we bought was only the 2nd house that we looked at. The house had gone into foreclosure status the week before we found it online. As soon as our agent showed it to us, we LOVED it! It literally had everything on our list except for a front porch. And we can deal with that :) It even had the small things like 3 drawers in the kitchen for our pots and pans and a place to put a swing. It was perfect! We have just been overwhelmed with gratitude for our house. It really is perfect for us. We can't wait to turn it into our home. As you can see in the pictures, some areas need a lot of work...but we are looking forward to putting in the time it takes to make it a home. Here are a few pictures of when we first saw it.
