Welcome!

Welcome to our blog! We are new to the blog world, but we will try to keep you updated on life in the Vickroy house.  

There have been a lot of changes in our lives over the past few months. Besides getting married a month and a half ago, we have moved into our new home and started our new jobs together.  We are adapting to all of these changes and loving the new things that are before us. 

We are both interns at the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation. This is the Methodist student ministry on campus.  Wesley provided a home for us to experience the Lord while we were in college and this is a great opportunity to provide that same experience for others.  It was on a mission trip to Tanzania through the Wesley Foundation that we  first met.  We absolutely love being on staff at Wesley.  Being on staff enables us to minister to college students each week through one on one discipleships, small groups, and our Wednesday night services. 

We are finally getting settled into our new apartment. We live in a duplex neighborhood right next door to our two best friends, Jim and Gina. They got married at the beginning of summer and are also on staff at Wesley. It is a great opportunity to learn together as we enter this new stage of our lives. 

We have been so BLESSED by all of the encouragement and support from our friends and family over the past few months.  The wedding was everything we had ever wanted it to be. We were so overwhelmed (in a good way!) with LOVE.  It was a huge blessing from the Lord and we are so thankful for everyone who was a part of it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
