Tomorrow is our four month anniversary. It is crazy to think that Leah and I have been married for that long already. It has been such an incredible experience getting to know one another in ways we never have before. It seems like every day we discover something new and realize that we didn't get married because we knew it all, but because we wanted to spend our lives trying to know all we could.

We have almost reached the half-way point in the school year, which means our year at Wesley is about half complete. Leah and I have learned so much and enjoyed so many things over the past semester. We feel so privileged to be able to do what we do. God has blessed us with so much and has entrusted us with such an important role in His kingdom. It is truly an honor to be involved with such an influential ministry and the incredible people we work with every day. We are staying busy with all the events and activities our ministry areas offer, but we wouldn't trade our lives for anyone else's.

Story of the month:
For those of you who don't know this about Leah, she HATES cockroaches. She would probably rather have anything else living in our house besides them. Her face turns pale and her heart starts racing at the sight of even the smallest of them. Well, over the course of a few weeks we discovered a few of them in our living room and kitchen. So, the next time we came to visit our families, Leah got her dad to get us some highly effective pesticide from his farm supply store. About a week later, Leah discovered a fairly large roach crawling on our kitchen cabinets and decided she had had enough. She yelled for me to come and take care of the problem once and for all. Leah ran into the other room and poured enough pesticide into the spray-bottle to take care of our problem. (and then some) In her fury, she forgot to take into consideration the ratio of pesticide to water, and accidentally used about 20 times the amount of solution she should have. The smell that followed was so potent, we had to sleep at Jim and Gina's for two nights just because of the odor. Leah is a bit more careful to measure out proportions now.
