We have finished up week one of Intern Training. This week, we learned about discipleship, met in our ministry areas for the first time, and met with our disciplees (the people that we will be discipling for the year). We also learned about support raising, the 3 "Marks" of Wesley (love, voice, and power).
For fun, we had "Skool Daze" where we traveled back in time quite a few years to when we were in elementary school. We had locker contests, where they had to receive their combinations and open their lockers within 30 seconds. Only one person was banged in the head, which means that it was a success! We then had thumb wars, spitball contests, pencil fights, and jump rope contests. And smack dab in the middle of all the skool fun, we had a tornado drill. Just like in Junior high :) Here are some pictures...
